Meatballs with white sauce


From the given ingredients, we prepare the composition for the meatballs. Then form the meatballs with a teaspoon, roll them in flour and fry them evenly. We take them out on a paper towel to absorb the excess oil.

For the sauce, melt the butter in a saucepan, sprinkle with flour and mix vigorously to avoid lumps. Add the cream and mix well. Then pour the milk little by little, stirring constantly.

Let the sauce simmer for 5 minutes. Season to taste with salt and add the meatballs. Continue cooking for another 5 minutes or so.

Serve hot. Good appetite

Meatballs with white sauce

A delicious recipe that I took from Cheerful Chefs and which I will prepare from now on quite often because I liked it a lot, more than the meatball version in tomato sauce.

Meatball ingredient
500 gr minced meat (I put beef but also a piece of smoked bacon, minced you can also put pork, chicken)
2 potatoes
slice of bread
2 eggs
green parsley
green onion & # 8211 2-3
flour
oil

For the sauce (Bechamel sauce)
500 ml of milk
2 tablespoons flour
a little nutmeg
40 gr butter
100 ml sour cream
2 tablespoons lemon juice
salt pepper
cow's milk (I also put some cheese)
salt pepper

Peeled and washed onions, cut into slices and cook for two minutes in oil. Peel a squash, grate it and squeeze the juice. Soak the bread in cold milk and then squeeze it well in your hand.
Mix in a bowl the minced meat, chopped bacon, green parsley, oiled onion, potato, eggs and mix well. Let cool for 10-15 minutes then with wet hands form meatballs that you pass through the flour then fry them on both sides until they are nicely browned.
Leave them in a warm place and prepare the sauce.

Melt the butter in a bowl, add the flour and mix and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Gradually add the milk, little by little, so that it does not form lumps and let it boil over low heat, stirring constantly until it thickens. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Add sour cream.
In a heat-resistant bowl greased with butter, place the meatballs, put pieces of cheese and pour the Bechamel sauce.

Put the dish in the oven (preheated oven) for 20 minutes, remove the dish, put the lemon juice and chopped green parsley and put back in the oven for 10 minutes.


Recipe for delicious vegetable meatballs, served with white wine sauce

During fasting periods or when you intend to take a break from meat, the recipe for vegetable meatballs with white wine sauce is the alternative to a classic and very popular dish.

Ingredient:

  • 2 zucchini
  • 1 handful of peas
  • 1 carrot
  • 3-4 potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped green onion leaves
  • 1 onion
  • 200 g finely chopped mushrooms
  • 2 suitable carrots
  • 4-5 well-ripened tomatoes
  • 3-4 cloves of garlic
  • 1 glass of white wine
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • rosemary
  • salt
  • frying oil

Method of preparation:

Boil the peas, beans and potatoes in salted water. Leave them until they are almost cooked. Meanwhile, clean the zucchini, put them on the large grater, sprinkle salt on them and leave for five minutes.

Squeeze the zucchini and mix with the eggs. Add the carrots and potatoes to the small grater. Stir, then add the peas and chopped beans. Add the onion leaves and breadcrumbs. Match salt and pepper.

Stir again and form larger meatballs. Fry the meatballs in a hot oil bath until nicely browned or put them in the oven. Remove them on paper towels.

Meanwhile, put a larger saucepan on the fire, in which you put the chopped onion and mushrooms to harden. When the onion has softened, add the carrots, cut larger and the wine. Bring to a boil, then add the diced tomatoes along with the juice. Let the tomatoes boil for 10-15 minutes, then add the meatballs and crushed garlic and put in the hot oven. Let it go for ten minutes.


Fasting pasta with white sauce

Fasting pasta with white sauce is a super creamy pasta and very easy to prepare! We do not use sweet cream for the creamy white sauce, but coconut milk! Yes yes, you read that right! Delicious and very creamy coconut milk.

For the recipe of Fasting pasta with white sauce, I chose to use gluten-free pasta, but you can use your favorite pasta for this recipe, whether it is long pasta (spaghetti / tagliatelle) or short pasta (penne, fussili, snails). We boil the pasta directly in the sauce, and this helps it to bind even better. Why? Thanks to the pasta starch!

Ingredients for 4 servings of fasting Easter with white sauce

  • a small white onion
  • 3-4 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons Primadonna extra virgin olive oil
  • 400g Freshona coconut milk
  • 500ml vegetable soup
  • 250g gluten-free pasta Combino
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 50g fresh spinach (baby spinach)

We cut the onion very finely. We pass the garlic through the press or cut it very finely.

In a large saucepan, heat the olive oil. Saute the onion for 1-2 minutes over medium heat, or until translucent. Add the garlic, cook for another minute, stirring often. Season with salt and pepper.

Add the entire contents of the canned coconut milk. We mix very well. Pour the chicken soup, add the lemon juice.

Put the spaghetti broken in half, mix. Leave everything on medium heat, 15 minutes or until the pasta is cooked and we have a creamy sauce. We don't forget to stir often, so that the spaghetti doesn't stick to the pan.

Pasta with white sauce and vegetables

Ingredient:
Pasta 200 g
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Grease butter 30 g
Flour 60 g
Milk 480 ml
Onions 1 piece medium
Carrot 1 medium piece
Garlic 1 puppy
Bell peppers 1 piece (half red / yellow)
Corn grain 50 g
Salt
Ground black pepper
Hot pepper flakes (optional)

In a pot, boil water with salt and 2 tablespoons of oil. When the water starts to boil, add the pasta and let it boil according to the instructions on the package. When they are ready, strain the pasta and rinse with cold water so that it does not stick together.
Peel and finely chop the onion. Peel and chop the carrot into thin strips about 2-3 cm long. Peel and cut the peppers into small pieces. Put a little oil in a pan and sauté the finely chopped garlic, onion, carrot and pepper. Add the corn to the end. Season with salt and pepper and remove from the heat.
In a saucepan put 30 ml of milk and butter over low heat. When the butter has melted, add the flour and mix well with a spatula for 3-4 minutes. Then add the milk little by little, stirring constantly.
After you have put all the milk, continue to mix using a whisk to dissolve all the lumps. When the sauce has become creamy and without lumps seasoned with salt, pepper and optional hot pepper flakes. Stir a few times and remove from the heat. If it is too hard, add a little more milk.
In a deep frying pan, mix the pasta with the vegetables and the white sauce. Stir for 1-2 minutes on low heat.
Serve hot with parmesan or grated cheese. Consume in moderation!

The white sauce is very easy and very quick to prepare. Here are the steps you need to follow:

Roast a tablespoon of flour in the oven.

Mix browned flour with a little cold milk.

Boil the milk and flour, stirring constantly.

After boiling, take the mixture off the heat and add a tablespoon of fresh butter.

Lemon juice and salt can be added to the mixture, as desired.

To be even more appetizing and have an even more pleasant aroma, add in white sauce and chopped greens, preferably dill. Good appetite!


Fish meatballs with tomato sauce

Try this recipe and you will surely be surprised at how good it is. We really like meatballs, but this time we wanted to make them in a healthier way. I prepared them in the oven and they came out much younger. In addition, the stove will not get dirty at all: D.

Ingredient:
600-700 g fresh or frozen white fish fillets & # 8211 we used code
1 suitable onion
2-3 cloves of garlic
1 handful of finely chopped parsley
1 or
1 slice of bread soaked in water
salt pepper
For the sauce:
300 ml of tomato juice
1-2 cloves of garlic
1 bay leaf
salt pepper

1. Wash the fish and dry well with a kitchen towel. Cut into suitable pieces, then pass through a mincer or grind in a blender.

2. Finely chop the onion and fry in a tablespoon of olive oil. The garlic is crushed.

3. In a bowl put the fish, onion, garlic, parsley, egg, bread already soaked in water and squeezed well, salt and pepper. Mix well.

4. Form the meatballs and place in a tray lined with baking paper. Place in the oven for about 30 minutes.

In the meantime we take care of the sauce:
5. Slice the garlic and fry in a tablespoon of olive oil until golden. Add the tomato juice, 1/2 cup water, salt, pepper and bay leaf.

Cover and simmer until reduced by half.
6. When the meatballs are ready, put them over the sauce and let them boil for 2-3 minutes.

Ingredient: 500 g mushrooms, a large onion, 5 tablespoons oil, 5 tablespoons cooking cream, salt and pepper, a cup of water, fresh basil.

Preparation: wash the mushrooms and cut into thin slices. Finely chop the onion, cut the carrot and pepper into cubes and fry with the mushrooms for a few minutes. Add the cream, water and cover with a lid. Boil over low heat, stirring regularly. Add salt, pepper, remove from the heat and decorate with basil.

Ingredient: for meatballs- two tablespoons breadcrumbs, one chopped onion, 2 cloves minced garlic, salt, pepper, 500 minced meat, 1 egg, a little oil for sauce: 2 tablespoons butter, 2 tablespoons flour, 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, 1 1/2 cups beef broth juice, 1/4 cup sour cream, salt, pepper, 2 tablespoons parsley

Ingredient: 16-18 tubes of cannelloni, 300 g minced meat, an onion, 2-3 cloves garlic, 2 tablespoons oil, salt, pepper for bechamel sauce: 2-3 tablespoons oil, 2-3 tablespoons flour, 450 ml milk, salt, nutmeg powder for garnish- 100 g cheese.

Preparation: put the cannelloni tubes in boiled water and leave according to the instructions (about 10 minutes). Prepare the meat filling: chop the onion and garlic and fry in oil. Add the meat and cook until white. Add salt and pepper. Then fill the tubes with the meat mixture and place in the baking tray. Bechamel sauce: put 2-3 tablespoons of oil on low heat, add 2-3 tablespoons of flour and mix quickly, then add the milk and leave on the fire until it gets the consistency of a cream and mix continuously . At the end, add a pinch of salt and nutmeg. Add the bechamel sauce over the cannelloni rolls and place in the preheated oven until golden brown on top. 5 minutes before removing them, sprinkle with grated cheese.
