Orange cake

Orange cake

Servings: 10

Preparation time: less than 30 minutes

RECIPE PREPARATION Orange cake:

I used ½ in quantities because I used a smaller form. Sprinkle a little salt and sugar over the yolks and leave for a few minutes then rub with the rest of the sugar and orange peel (I added 1 teaspoon of orange peel from the jar that was in the sugar because I like the aroma). Add the orange juice and mix well. Put the oil and baking powder quenched with a little lemon juice. At the end, gradually add the flour and the beaten egg whites. Add the drained fruit and the diced orange pieces to the dough. Pour the dough into a tray lined with baking paper and put in the hot oven for 35-40 minutes. Make the test with the toothpick and remove from the oven. Whoever wants can powder it with sugar. I especially liked this cake, although at first it seemed trivial. I also used a teaspoon of orange peel which still gives it a slightly bitter taste. I personally liked the combination but those who do not want can use only one orange peel.
