Spinach food

  • 2 kg of spinach
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic
  • delicately 2 tbsp
  • salt to taste

Preparation time: less than 30 minutes


The spinach is chosen, washed well, scalded in water with delicacy, drained and then chopped on a wooden bottom. Brown the flour in oil and then quench it with milk and the juice in which the spinach was boiled, until it acquires the consistency of sour cream. Add the chopped spinach + crushed garlic, a pinch of salt to taste ... let it boil for a few minutes and then put it on the fire :) ..... Enjoy! : D

Diabetes management

Spinach contains an antioxidant known as alpha-lipoic acid, which has been shown to lower glucose levels, increase insulin sensitivity and prevent changes induced by oxidative stress in patients with diabetes. Studies of alpha-lipoic acid have also shown a decrease in peripheral neuropathy and autonomic neuropathy in diabetics. However, most studies have used intravenous alpha-lipoic acid and it is uncertain whether oral supplementation would produce the same benefits.
