P.S .: I syruped only half of the portions with pineapple juice (1 can of pineapple compote is enough), the rest with water syrup, sugar and rum essence. Over the lid of the savarins syruped with this syrup I put rosehip jam (for color) and a word of whipped cream on top.

  • 400 g sugar
  • 90 g starch

  • 4 eggs
  • 3 lamai

First we grate the peel of the lemons without reaching the white part and then we squeeze them with the juice. Beat eggs with sugar and lemon juice until it melts.

Then dissolve the starch in water and pour over the egg mixture with sugar.

Put on low heat and stir continuously until the composition becomes creamy. The starch boils instantly and. At the first boil it is ready. Then add the lemon peel, turn off the heat, leave to cool and then keep in the refrigerator.

Before serving for an hour, put the diced pineapple.

We put in cups, decorate according to imagination and serve cold. A wonder. Good job and good appetite!

Boiled pineapple peel drink

It's a simple recipe to prepare. Follow the steps below:

  • Wash the pineapple well and peel.
  • Cut the peel into very small slices and boil them in about 1 liter of water.
  • Simmer for 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Remove the pot from the heat and set aside for 5 minutes.
  • Sweeten the drink with honey or stevia.
  • You can drink it hot, immediately after you have prepared it, but also cold.

DUCK CURRY WITH PINEAPPLE

  • 3 duck legs
  • 1 can of Dole Tropical Gold pineapple, cubes
  • 1 tablespoon curry powder
  • ½ spoon garam masala
  • 1 hot pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 170ml coconut milk
  • 4 lime kaffir leaves
  • 1 handful of basil leaves
  • 100ml water
  • salt and pepper

In a pot for which you have a lid (or pan with high walls) place the duck legs with the skin down. Heat the pot to a medium temperature and fry the thighs for 10-15 minutes (turning them on the other side halfway) or until well browned. Then take them out on a plate and set them aside.

In the fat left by the thighs (still hot), put the sugar, curry powder, garam masala, coconut milk, fish sauce, lime leaves and water. Mix well, then place the thighs back in the pot, put the lid on and leave on medium heat for 1 hour. In the last half and half, cook them without a lid.

After the thighs are done, add the pineapple cubes. Stir and leave on the fire for a few more minutes.

At the end, sprinkle the hot pepper cut into strips and a handful of fresh basil leaves.

Even if it's not a complicated recipe, it seems perfect for the weekend - when I'm in no hurry and I can wait an hour or so until it's ready. Plus it can be prepared the day before and then it's an even better idea if you have a party.
